Mötley Crüe biopic “The Dirt” show Drugs, Sex Rock n’ Roll and beyond

Have you actually seen this movie, “The Dirt”? If you have not, you are missing out.  Today, I took the time to sit and watch it.  I will say, it probably left a lot of stuff out but this version got to the meat and potatoes of this crazy 1980s band.

For some, this film may be a little rated Mature audience but if you rocked out in the 80s, the 80s were rough.  Sex, drugs and rock and roll have pretty much been the banner saying since rock and roll started but Motley Crue in their hay day sure did put it to the test.  Watching their antics or bad behavior was shocking.  I had heard growing up that the band was notorious for trashing rooms, too much blow, alcohol and girls, girl, girls were a 24/7 thing.  Sitting through this movie confirmed the poor judgments of these awesome musicians and their life-changing outcomes.

Nixxi Sixx, Tommy Lee, Vince Neil, and Mick Mars, the original four, probably look back while this film was being made and shook their heads and thought, what the…!

This Biopic was not poorly written, the film was not bad.  Good job Motley Crue and the cast that played them.
